McCauley Chemists as founded in 1953 in Enniscorthy, Wexford. Sam McCauley and his wife Leslie, both Pharmacists, joined the family business in 1978 maintaining the "family chemist" culture.
Sam McCauley Chemists Group operates 28 stores nationally, with a strong presence in Counties Carlow, Cork, Dublin, Kerry, Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford, Wexford and Wicklow. It employs more than 570 people and has a turnover of more than €80m.
