HP Ireland
In 2015, the old HP business split in two, with the consumer PC and printer part of the business becoming HP Inc, still known as HP.
In 2017, HP announced it was closing its Leixlip plant, with the loss of about 500 jobs. The company also reduced its workforce elsewhere in Ireland, but continues to operate here.
Meanwhile, the enterprise product and business services part of the old Hewlett Packard became HPE, which is an entirely separate company and has its own Top 1000 listing.
