Argos
Argos is one of the largest retail employers in the country with around 900 employees.
Founded in 1973, the company sells general merchandise and products for the home. Its parent is UK retail giant J Sainsbury plc.
Argos opened its first stores in the Republic in January 1996 in Limerick, Nutgrove and Dublin.
