Tipperary Co-Op
After being established in 1908, Tipperary Co-op now has more than 400 milk suppliers within a region that extends for 25 miles.
Tipperary Co-op is farmer/shareholder owned, with a milk intake in excess of one million litres of day. The milk is then processed into cheese, butter and milk powders as well as supplying infant formula and ingredients sectors of the domestic market.
The dairy product range is extensively marketed internationally in Europe and the U.S.A. Tipperary Co-op is a major supplier of Emmental cheese to the French market. The co-op also owns Fairgreen Ingredients Ltd, located in Tipperary Town.
