Atlantic Projects Company Limited (APC) assemble heavy-duty industrial gas and steam turbines. It also provides boiler installation and maintenance services in Ireland and Europe.
APC was formed by the General Electric Company in Dublin, Ireland in 1973, with the goal of creating a turbine installation and service company having access to the Irish graduate engineering and technical workforce. Since a management buy-out in 1987, APC had remained a privately held company until the recent acquisition by Argan, Inc. in June 2015. Argan (www.arganinc.com) is a U.S. based publicly traded holding company (NYSE AMEX: AGX) focused on companies that provide products and services to growth industries.
It has operations in Ireland, the UK, Far East, Middle East and US.
