AIB conducts its business through three major operating division: AIB Bank ROI, Capital Markets and AIB Bank UK.
AIB ROI covers retail and business banking operations in the Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man, in addition to asset finance, wealth management and credit card services. The ROI division supports both business and personal customers and commands a strong presence in all key sectors including SME, mortgages and personal.
The bank is 99.8 per cent owned by the Irish Government.
